Governor’s Scholars Program Who May Apply: High School Seniors who have either earned a Diploma of Distinction or an Associate Degree upon high school graduation. Award: Up to $5,000 per year. Deadline: July 1 Distinguished Awardees: High School Seniors who have earned either a 32 ACT Superscore or a 1410 on the ACT and have a 3.5 Academic GPA. Award: Up to $10,000 per year.

Deadline: March 1. The FAFSA is required for both. Arkansas Future Grant (ArFuture)

Who May Apply: Students who enroll in a STEM program, a state high demand, or regional high demand area of study at a 2-year or 4-year institution. Students must complete the FAFSA. A listing of programs is available on the state financial aid website: sams.adhe.edu. Award: Tuition and mandatory fees at a public 2-year institution. For 2025-2026, the amount for a 4-year institution is $5,600 per year and may change each academic year.

When to Apply: July 1 and January 10 Arkansas Teacher Academy Who May Apply: Arkansas students who plan to teach in the state’s public school system. Students must be pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree that enables them to become a licensed educator. Award: Up to $6,000 for tuition and fees. When to Apply: July 1 and January 10
